Lameck Mkuburo (41) is one of Tanzania's most prominent wildlife biologists. In 2019, he founded the Tanzanian Elephant Foundation (TEF). Its aim is to record the traditional routes of migratory elephants, raise public and political awareness of these migratory movements and reduce conflicts with the local population.
